Join us in recognizing and honoring the upcoming National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, as we reflect upon the legacy of the Residential School System here in Canada with a screening of the film Bones of Crows. The film follows Cree Matriarch Aline Spears. Aline survives her childhood in Canada's Indian Residential School system to continue her family's generational fight in the face of starvation and racism, including the trauma of mental, physical, and sexual abuse.                                                                                                

 Some of these scenes may be upsetting or triggering, particularly for direct or intergenerational survivors of Residential Schools in the audience. This film is rated 14A – warning of sexual violence towards a minor.
