Senior Storywriters

How To Tell Stories: Tips, Techniques, and Telling Tales

Whether coaxing your kids to sleep at night, sitting around a campfire, or pitching an idea at work, it pays to be a persuasive and engaging storyteller. Join instructor Carol Goff Steedman (Brant Story Time Entertainers) for five progressive workshops, where you'll learn the skills to make yourself a master storyteller. Themes will include Circle of Life, Morals and Lessons, Fairy Tales, The Senses, and Myths. Registration required.

Canada Connects: English Conversation Circles

Storytime at St. Paul

In this weekly storytime hosted every Wednesday, preschoolers will develop a love for reading by learning easy rhymes, repeating phrases, exploring story props, and strengthening comprehension, together! Books from our collection will be carefully selected to help bring the learning home. Ages 18 months to 4 years. This is a drop-in program.

Get Ready for Kindergarten: Session 2 (March - April)

Time:  1:30 pm to 2:15 pm

Preschoolers ages 3-5, will enjoy this 6-week-long, kindergarten readiness program, with a focus on social skills and independence! The weekly program's length is 45 minutes. Parents & caregivers must remain in the Library while children participate independently in the program. 3-5 years old and must be entering kindergarten (JK or SK) in September 2026. Register ONCE for this 6-week session. Registration opens on March 11.

Coffee Tasting with Altitude Coffee Roasters
