Our Book a Librarian program provides you with one hour of one-on-one help from Library staff. During this session, our staff can help you with:

  • Using the Internet
  • Using online databases
  • Accessing our digital collection and online tools
  • Searching and using our online catalogue
  • Finding books
  • Research tips Introduction to family history resources

One-on-one sessions will be held at our Main Branch. Note:  Library staff is unable to assist with troubleshooting personal computers/laptops, installing software, typing documents and forms, and making online purchases.

The Library’s LinkedIn Learning service offers free online courses on a variety of tech topics, including iPhones, iPads, and Android phones and tablets. On our Research and Learning page, you can sign in for free with your library card and PIN.

This PA Day, we're throwing it back to the 90's with a film that's been a family favourite for a couple of generations, The Sandlot! We'll provide the popcorn and the space. Stop by the children's area before the movie, and we'll be making custom buttons to add to the throwback vibe.

Button making 2:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Movie 2:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

The Sandlot is rated PG with a run time of 100 minutes. (May contain some material not suitable young children. Caregivers please use your discretion.)

This is a drop-in program for all ages. Part of the City of Brantford's Gen Connect initiative.

Book To Screen Movie Club: Ramona and Beezus

Families are welcome to join us as we experience the magic of watching some of our favourite children’s books come alive on screen! We’ll provide snacks and the space!

(Parents MUST accompany their children to the movie screening.)

All ages welcome. This is a drop-in program.
