Join us for First Nations Public Libraries Week! This year's theme is "Remember When." It aims to inspire libraries to create programs that promote visiting, sharing, and reminiscing. These presentations are being streamed from the Ontario Library Service. They will also be available to stream directly from the Ontario Library Service website on the day of the event. Join the celebration of Indigenous books and authors at the First Nation Communities READ Award Ceremony. First Nation Communities READ celebrates the very best of Indigenous literature across Turtle Island. The program encourages family literacy, intergenerational storytelling as well as intergenerational knowledge transmission. FNCR also helps to increase awareness of the importance of First Nation, Metis, and Inuit writing, illustration, and publishing.
