Human Trafficking: Survivor's Perspective - This event has already occurred
Event Details:
Come to this three-part series to learn how people are lured, groomed and manipulated into this exploitative venture. Learn how to spot the signs and how to help them in a safe and secure manner. Kim, a Transitional Support Worker and Outreach Worker will be here to bring us the survivor’s perspective on what they’d like us to know and how we can appropriately respond to these concerns. Registration opens December 27. Other programs in the series include: Safety, Security and Family Supports (January 31) and a screening of the NFB Film Avenue Zero: Canada’s Human Trafficking Shame (February 14). Please note that you must register for each program separately.
