Sensory Storytime

Sensory Storytime is a welcoming, inclusive program for children ages 0–6 who enjoy movement, a calmer space, and sensory play. Families will enjoy interactive stories, songs, and movement activities in a small-group setting.
 
Registration is required for each session. To register, email kthomas@brantfordlibrary.ca beginning January 5. All abilities are welcome!

Book a Librarian

Our Book a Librarian program provides you with one hour of one-on-one help from Library staff. During this session, our staff can help you with:

  • Using the Internet
  • Using online databases
  • Accessing our digital collection and online tools
  • Searching and using our online catalogue
  • Finding books
  • Research tips Introduction to family history resources

One-on-one sessions will be held at our Main Branch. Note:  Library staff is unable to assist with troubleshooting personal computers/laptops, installing software, typing documents and forms, and making online purchases.

The Library’s LinkedIn Learning service offers free online courses on a variety of tech topics, including iPhones, iPads, and Android phones and tablets. On our Research and Learning page, you can sign in for free with your library card and PIN.

Celebrate the Winter Olympics

It's the Winter Olympics, and we are bringing the excitement to the Library! Cheer on Canada's athletes while you explore Olympic-themed activities and games for the whole family!

 

There will even be a special visit from Brantford's own Olympic athlete, Claire Scheffel, an artistic swimmer who competed in the Paris Olympics! Let's go, Canada!

 

All ages are welcome. This is a drop-in program.
