The Library’s LinkedIn Learning service offers free online courses on a variety of tech topics, including iPhones, iPads, and Android phones and tablets. On our Research and Learning page, you can sign in for free with your library card and PIN.

Whether coaxing your kids to sleep at night, sitting around a campfire, or pitching an idea at work, it pays to be a persuasive and engaging storyteller.
Join us for five progressive workshops with the Brant Story Time Entertainers, where you'll learn the skills to make yourself a master storyteller. Themes will include Circle of Life, Morals and Lessons, Fairy Tales, The Senses, and Myths.

Canada Connects helps newcomers receive informal support enhancing their spoken language skills. Volunteer facilitators organize conversation circles along certain social themes that are discussed in each session. These conversation groups allow newcomers and volunteers to meet other newcomers, share experiences, socialize, and make new friends.
This program is for newcomers to Canada, 18 years and older. It is a partnership of YMCA Immigrant Services—YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington/Brantford and Brantford Public Library, supported by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

The Alzheimer Society’s Social Café is a welcoming space offered weekly where persons living with dementia and their care partner can socialize, build support networks and enjoy dementia friendly activities together. Do you love to cook and enjoy trying new recipes? Are you looking to level up your skills and branch out into different styles and connect with others who also enjoy cooking and baking? Join us for a monthly Cookbook Club, where we get together, each choose a different recipe from the same cookbook and then come back to discuss making that recipe and what we've learned.
Due to public health regulations, we cannot share/bring food to this event.

The Fall Prevention Program offers group education and exercise classes to community members 55+ who wish to increase their knowledge of fall prevention and improve their physical fitness, regardless of current physical ability.
